Why we chose it: ROZE BioHealth was founded by Dr David Roze, a French-trained dentist who has practised biological dentistry in Dubai since 2003. Hydroxyapatite is the mineral enamel is largely made of, and it's the best-researched alternative to fluoride. If you've decided to go fluoride-free but don't want to compromise on enamel care, this is where we'd point you.
What it does: 15% hydroxyapatite helps remineralise enamel and can ease sensitivity with regular use. Indian manjistha, Arabic acacia and clove oil support a cleaner-feeling mouth and comfortable gums, and organic mint extract gives the flavour. Free from fluoride, SLS, preservatives, artificial colours and artificial sweeteners.
Texture & Finish: A smooth paste with a gentle lather that leaves your mouth fresh rather than burning-minty. Brush for two minutes twice a day. The brand suggests spitting without rinsing, so the formula stays on your teeth longer.
Best For: Adults and families moving to a fluoride-free routine, and anyone whose teeth feel sensitive. If your dentist has recommended fluoride because of a high cavity risk, follow their advice.
Worth Knowing: With no SLS, it foams far less than mainstream toothpaste — that's normal. Clove oil can be too strong for some mouths. Small amounts swallowed aren't a concern, but children should still use a pea-sized amount, spit, and be supervised. It doesn't replace dental check-ups; gums that bleed regularly are a reason to see a dentist.
